FIJI, OOKLAH THE MOC AND NESIAN NINE TO HEADLINE DISCOVER NORTH SHORE

HONOLULU, HI (November 8, 2013) – Na Hoku Hanohano award winners to perform at Discover North Shore on November 16, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the main concert attraction featuring Fiji, Ooklah the Moc, and Nesian Nine starts at $25. Tickets are available at the Turtle Bay Resort in Watershed retail location on the ground level, as well as online at http://amtickets.com.

Discover North Shore will also be holding a free concert during the farm to table food experience, farmer’s market, and fashion show. Performing for the free concert are Josh Sharp, Isaak Moreno, Garland and Dave Sprague.

At the conclusion of the main concert at Kuilima Point, the official after party locations have been confirmed at Surfer, The Bar and Kula Grille. Performing live at Kula Grille are Rachel Akaka, Nesian Nine, Scott Carey and Kumuniu Music, with doors opening at 9:30 p.m. Performing live at Surfer, The Bar are Braddah Wayne, Moroni, Fiji and Ka’imihanano’eau Brede.

NORTH SHORE BRANDS TO PARTICIPATE IN DISCOVER NORTH SHORE FASHION SHOW

HONOLULU, HI (October 23, 2013) – From casual to formal, Discover North Shore will hold its own fashion show, highlighting brands that represent different lifestyles in the surrounding community. Discover North Shore, a community event that will feature the best fashion, food, music and art rooted in the North Shore of O‘ahu. The festival will be held at Turtle Bay Resort on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., and the fashion show is one of the event’s many options for family and friends to enjoy.

Brands that will be participating in Discover North Shore are as follows Turtle Bay and Surfer the Bar Merchandise, Plumeria Sun, Kaipua, Khush, Vans (Triple Crown merch), Quiksilver (In Memory of Eddie Aikau merch), Roxy Girls, and Variables with Jewelry by Kawela Kai and Beach Girl Jewels. Various apparel that will be showcased are apparel made from organic bamboo viscose, Hawaiian pareao designs, Paniolo shirts, skateboard, surf and snowboard wear and many more. Jewelry, made locally in North Shore, some made using shells and beach glass and special pieces made from rare sunrise shell or a Tahitian pearl.
